The Town of Lincoln, Maine, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Town Manager. Lincoln is a growing full service community located in Penobscot County with a population of 5,221 and a municipal budget of $2.5 million excluding schools. Lincoln has a Council/Manager form of government, with a seven-member Council elected for three-year staggered terms, and 42 municipal employees. The Council is seeking an individual with strong budgetary and financial management skills, experience in labor relations and personnel management, effective supervisory skills and hands-on experience in economic development activities. Demonstrated public relations and written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Candidates should have an educational background in public administration or a related field and progressively responsible experience in municipal management. Salary will be negotiable based on experience and training.
